Ever since flu season hit and I developed a cold, my workouts have not been the same. I have not had the energy or the determination to get back to my regular routine. My excuse is that I do not want to wear myself out and get sick again (I know it is possibly the worst excuse ever). Finally, I have found a workout that has inspired me to get back to into shape. Occasionally, I will check out the BeFit YouTube channel when I get tired of using the treadmill or my other workout DVDs. The video below called Total Body Weight Loss (Level 1). It made me sweat more in twenty minutes than I sweat when I am running on the treadmill for forty five minutes. This workout is the perfect combination of intense cardio with breaks in between to catch your breath. Lately, I have heard health experts on the radio talk about doing spurts of intense exercise then resting for a small amount of time because that gets the heart rate pumping and causes muscle confusion within one workout.
